About This Event
This workshop will be facilitated by experienced professionals and focus on supporting families of children experiencing anxiety. It is designed to help schools build strong, collaborative relationships with families where anxiety is impacting a student’s engagement and wellbeing.
This event is open to all school staff, including leaders, classroom and subject teachers, wellbeing and learning support staff.
This all-day professional learning event will assist participants to:
deepen understanding of childhood anxiety and its impact on learning and participation
identify early signs that anxiety may be affecting a student's school experience
consider how to respond to parent reports that their child is anxious
learn practical strategies to support students to maintain engagement in learning, in consultation with families
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
