About This Event
This 2-day workshop will include professional learning on cognitive science aligned with AERO’s research on how students learn best and teaching for how students learn.
An explanation of what pedagogical models should include, together with ISQ examples and templates will set the scene for schools to consider their own context and develop their own model. Further professional development for implementing the pedagogical model and workshop time to devise your own school plan means that schools will leave the 2-day workshop with a draft model and an implementation plan.
To maximise effectiveness of the workshop, school groups should attend together, ideally at least one leader of curriculum or head of department together with some teachers willing to trial the work as the first step of implementation.
