In 2025 ISQ will facilitate an online HR forum called the HR Discussion Group for our members included in the membership fee. The group will meet via Teams for an hour once a term. The purpose of this is to bring together individuals carrying out HR roles within our member schools to share ideas, knowledge and experiences. It is a chance to create a supportive community and opportunity for learning from other HR professionals working in the independent education sector.

This is a group for our members, and as such, we would like the discussion topics to be driven by you, our members. Some typical HR topics may include:

• Diversity and inclusion

• Engagement and culture

• HR research and metrics

• Learning and development

• HR systems

• Performance management strategies

• Reward and recognition strategies

• Talent management including attraction and retention strategies
