Early career teachers often report feeling unprepared and ill-equipped for conversations with parents about their child's progress at school.
In this interactive workshop we will:
explain the evidence-based benefits of strong home-school communication: for students, families and teachers
explore how to set yourself up for a positive experience in meetings with parents, including parent-teacher interviews
hear from parents about what they most want from the parent-teacher interview process
practice common teacher-parent interaction scenarios to skill-build and develop positive and confident approaches to future parent interactions
