Workshop 4 - Mastering Parent Engagement Plus 2026

This event is ONLY open to participants who are currently enrolled in ISQ's 2026 Mastering Parent Engagement Plus program.

Are you ready to turbo-charge your school’s parent engagement initiatives, collaborate with like-minded educators, and make an impact in the burgeoning parent engagement field?

Mastering Parent Engagement Plus is a year-long invitation-only program, specifically designed to support a school leadership team tasked with driving their school’s parent engagement initiatives.

Participants must have completed ISQ’s Mastering Parent Engagement Program in 2024 or 2025 or the earlier Engaging Parents in Curriculum (EPIC) Research Project [2021-2023] to be eligible for Mastering Parent Engagement Plus.

Intended Outcomes:

• Four in-person workshops (1/term for up to three team members) featuring guest facilitators, guided support and group problem-solving.

• One-on-one support and accountability throughout the year by a dedicated external parent engagement coach (an experienced independent school principal who has successfully implemented parent engagement in their school).

• Being part of a Community of Practice with other parent-engagement leaders.

• A chance to have your school’s parent engagement initiatives celebrated via ISQ and QIS Parents Network’s channels at the end of 2026.

Who should be involved?

This program is designed for a school leadership team with responsibility for driving their schools’ parent engagement initiatives.

What's involved?

• 4 x all-day workshops (1 per term) for up to three members of the school’s leadership team.

• Targeted coaching each term from an independent school principal with a proven track record of successfully implementing parent engagement in their community.

• Complimentary access to two online modules on parent engagement for all staff members at your school, to assist with school-wide shared language and understanding.

• Development of a tangible parent engagement project and achieving that by the end of the program.

Selection Criteria

Participation in this program is via invitation. Participants are asked to complete an application form and a member of ISQ's Parent Engagement team will then be in contact to confirm your involvement.

Is there a cost to participate?

Participants will be required to contribute $5,000 (+GST) towards program/coaching costs. This includes the involvement of up to three parent engagement leaders in your school in all aspects of the program (coaching and workshops).
